I can only back up the other posters on this one. Unfortunately some people leave the passwords in their clipboard for ways too long. Or the copy of something else (!) fails and then you accidentally paste the password where it should not be.

I would also really appreciate if this is implemented sooner than later! very important security feature

Usually most browsers don't allow to affect your clipboard. This feature will be implemented in our future desktop applications.

Passwork Support: 'all other' PWD-Manager can and do this (yes mostly via the desktop application) and this would be very important especially in a business context!

Passwork Support: https://www.technipages.com/bitwarden-how-to-clear-the-clipboard-automatically-after-copying-a-password this seems also to work within browser extensions?
there is also one that claims to clear the clipboard after closing down the privacy mode windows: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/clear-clipboard/gmiendlfaoibdbgdfgpikbaelhpamgpb
eventually it might be possible to clear 'own' entries in the clipboard? that would be really an important feature also for us.

Ives Laaf: thank you for the reference, we are going to take a look

I would also like to be able to turn this feature off, because I really hate it in other tools.

This is a very useful function to prevent accidental exposure of the password. It is even implemented in personal password management tools like KeePass and should be on the roadmap.
